Henry II (so called because of his 2 litre engine) is a VW Type 2 Campervan with a Westfalia conversion, Berlin layout, first registered in 1979, left hand drive.
In 2018 he was fitted with a new engine and in late 2019/early 2020 further restoration work was carried out, ready for the 2020 season.
He lives in South East London (Greenwich area) and is available for hire over a long weekend (Thurs eve – Mon pm), mid-week break (Mon eve -Thurs pm), or for the whole week.
Bedding not usually provided as people generally prefer to provide their own, although may be able to do so on request at small additional cost.
Henry is in good condition but original parts have been made good where possible, rather than replaced, and he is therefore probably more suited to holidays than the eg wedding hire where a pristine van is often required!

I love the retro vibe, the original features bringing real charm and character but it is tricky to drive, I see myself as a confident driver but it was a challenge and is definitely not for the faint hearted.
