Was left with no gas for the fridge and we broke down with ongoing issues we didn't get told about. Had to drive the van back to glasgow in a unsafe condition and end our holiday 4 days early and still no refund by owner. If you want a good holiday this is not the one!
Do not let this man and his girlfriend rent your Motorhome everything was fine pickup Sunday and on the wed it started, got a text saying ad blue light had came on Charlene at that stage said right away....my holiday is over I have packed...we told her just to go on with her holiday as it was a sensor fault. The rac told her the van hadn’t broken down but if she wanted that she could take it to Peugeot in Inverness ....this never happened they continued their holiday on the NC 500 and also stopped into another caravan site then on the Friday proceeded to make there way down to Glasgow....we tour round Glasgow then drove the Motorhome past the drop off point. She took it to Peugeot several mile away and left it..... No text...No phone call...no handover ....nothing. Thanks to having a tracker on the van we knew where it was . We picked the van up from Peugeot on the Saturday and it was fine NO LIGHT ....as for the gas running out... the van went back out on the Sunday to the next Sunday then a long weekend with my grandchildren and it’s still got gas in it .
As for the van being unsafe would have been them doing 77 mph in a 3 and a half ton van with a 7 month old baby.
Tracker details will be passed to the authorities
Carolyn and Ian, Thank you for making this possible for us. And see you next time when we visit Scotland again!
