The van itself was in great condition, drives smoothly (even with Amber bringing half her belongings) and was equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need.
We chose minimalistic campsites with great view as the van allowed us to be completely off grid meaning we could get away from the typical touristy spots. Rechargeable solar panels meant we never had to worry and could charge phones, watch Netflix and do whatever we needed to do.
Marks experience using his own van to holiday in shows as no stone is left unturned and everything has been thought out with this conversion. This certainly made our whole experience more enjoyable.
Mark himself was attentive and sent us loads of useful information on how to use everything, his wife equally as helpful when we came to collect the van, showing us everything we'd need.
Would happily recommend this van for couples with pets/small families looking to explore down south - you'll have the best time like we did.
We have two children (ages 6 and 9) and a shihtzu we didn’t want to leave behind and Mr Explorer catered for us all.
I can’t explain how incredible it was! Equipped with toilet, shower, beds and linen, stove, sink and even a film projector for cosy nights in - Mark has thought of everything! USB charging points, fridge and lighting made it the most comfortable camping trip. All the essential utensils and blankets were included all we needed was our toothbrushes!
Mark was great with communication, from videos for how it all worked, to letting us know via text when it was available to pick up and drop back.
I can’t recommend Mr Explorer enough. The conversion to camper has been completed to a great standard, it really does have the edge. We can’t wait to hire this van again - the whole Experience was easy, relaxed and everything we needed as a family.
