I wish I could write a review about my experience with this camper van but unfortunately due to personal circumstances our trip did not happen. I would be very wary renting from Elisabeth as she applies the terms and conditions (about 25 pages of) down to the last detail. We asked her by private message to change the booking as my husband was ill after his covid jab and then our daughter broke her back the day before we were due to pick up, Elisabeth agreed to this initially, however i did not change the booking fast enough on Camptoo website and ultimately she claimed that she had the right to keep our payment and not offer us new dates. We then asked a couple of days later if we could pick up the van and use it for the rest of our booking time, but she quoted a clause in the T&C that states that if you do not collect within two hours of the agreed time you forfeit your booking. I went to her home at this point to try and discuss this with her, she was not home and neither was the Motorhome at her property.
I have no proof but my feeling is she was able to book it out privately and therefore had our payment for the five days and also re-rented it.
So as I say be very careful dealing with this woman.
I wish I could have written a more favourable review, but this is exactly what happened to us, we are pensioners and can ill afford to lose £650 with nothing to show for it, Elisabeth was quite heartless and would not even consider a part refund.
