Description
Lydia J is our latest new Citroen Relay 2 berth Campervan conversion. She was designed with you in mind, to an exceptional standard. She has a lot of similarities to "Lady E" with a few added extras for your comfort and enjoyment on wheels. Not only is she calming with her neutral modern colour scheme, she has a 40inch cinema screen to view your Netflix/Internet from your superking bed, with a portable Bose speaker connected to a Yaufey projector for the perfect sound. She is totally off grid and powered by solar stored on 4 batteries for you to enjoy your cooking experiences on the induction hob and microwave oven. A larger than average fridge freezer which will have a complementary personal surprise pack just for you! Just needs a little TLC for her to perform off grid.. The cabin also benefits from 3 seats of which the double swivels to provide added dining or morning space sipping fresh coffee or a glass of wine with your furry friend or dog. The shower and toilet are also built with you in mind so it is spacious enough for you tall people 6ft plus. There is an added hot water tap outside the back of the Camper to clean those muddy boots or your furry friend. She is fitted with an awning for your outdoor dining on an alliminum table and comfy chairs. There is more than ample storage space in the overhead lockers, drawers and under the sofa areas for your convenience . You can also hire bedding towels and quilt for £25 . There is a bike rack for up to 2 bikes, we can supply his and her mountain bikes for just £25 each per hire. Fully comprehensive insurance for 2 drivers and RAC breakdown cover is included in the daily rate. We have 3 Campers in all- check them out. ' Laura Mary and ' Lady E". This is an amazing camper and I have no hesitation in recommending Eleanor and Andy as the perfect people to hire from. The pre pick-up service is professional and provides all of the necessary detail prior to collection. A video takes you though the main functionality of the camper so you feel confident to manage on your own. Lydia J has been very well thought out and everything g you need is on board. In particular I liked not having to think about gas cylinders as the solar powered system means everything works independently whether hooked up or off-grid. Hiring the camper on my own I had been a little concerned whether I would be able to manage, but had absolutely no issues. Everything you need is on board and has been well thought out. Eleanor had even stocked the fridge with some lovely food pre-departure. There is a projector and Bose sound system. I honestly felt like I was living in a miniature luxury bubble for the whole time away. The bed is very comfortable and it was a bit chilly at night so the heating was put to good use. I will definitely hire again - Elaenor and Andy are reassuringly available whilst you are away to help with any issues you have at all. I also hired one of their bikes which gave an additional sense to independence whilst I was away. A brillIant way to escape from it all- thank you!
We hired Lydia J to do a ‘flying’ winter visit round the NC500….we picked her up from her owners & were super impressed with the inventory and all her extras like the Bose speaker, the projector & screen, they even lent our dog a fab zip up towel bag for when he got wet or muddy! Hand over was about an hour as they went through all the instructions about the loo, water system, bed, battery switches, heating system etc. Lydia J was easy to drive, easy to convert the seats to a really really comfy big bed, she’s got quite a bit of clever storage space & good size fridge. We were off grid for 2 nights and had no problems with the bathroom or heating. The NC 500 is fabulous, I just wish we’d had more time. You really need more than the 5 days we had…I’d recommend 10. Would most definitely recommend Lydia J for road trips!
It was our first ever time in a campervan and we couldn’t of picked better people to higher it off. Eleanor and Andy were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be using them again.
