A wonderful campervan with room for four people with a sink, gas hobs, grill and oven. The bed is super comfy with space upstairs for little ones or storage.
A 1.9!litre water cooled engine keeps cool in summer and provides (just) enough power!
Berti embodies the simple pleasures of camping, offering a back to basics and authentic campervanning experience. He has a cosy, handmade, rustic interior with a comfortable bed, ultimately helping you get straight out into nature for your trip. Enjoy panaramic views whilst road tripping in style!
Berti comes with crockery & cutlery for 4, cooking equipment kettle, 2 camping chairs, electric hook up, bedding, blankets & cushions. She has a table which can be put up in front of the sofa inside the van and can seat 4/5 around with people sat on the unit, or it can be set up outside with the 2 camping chairs or picnic blanket. Inside she has plenty of storage space for all of your equipment, with cupboards along side the bed and under the sofa.
There is a portable gas hob, cool box, a sink (no running water but we use the water dispenser included).
Berti has a mains hookup with 3 plug sockets in the van so you can charge your phone, laptop, etc at campsites. I also have an adapter so any house socket can power Berti.
The van sleeps two but has four seat-belts so you can bring a tent and a group if you fancy.
He’s great to drive but has a few quirks which is why we insist on a short practice drive just to get used to him before you set off properly. He is reliable with good breakdown insurance if ever needed but as with any old van needs it’s coolant and oil checking regularly.
The van also comes with daily driving insurance & breakdown provided through your booking with Camptoo.

Berti is 30 years old so treat him gently. He can do 70mph fine, but you do have to build up to it, and we recommend a 15-30 minute break every 1.5-2hrs driving so he can catch his breath. We insist on a short practice drive just to get used to the quirks of her gears and systems before you take her out properly. Thank you.Show more Show less
