My Campervan Joy Green has given me a lot of pleasure over the years & now I feel ready for her to be used by other people. She’s more than capable of tackling the windy country lanes unlike the larger motor homes.
She’s fully kitted out in a bohemian style & has lots of extras like a warm shower & toilet room. She has a huge solar panel on the roof and 2 leisure batteries that get charged as you drive so really you shouldn't have to hook up but if you do there is also electric hook up under the bonnet. The bed is very big & tall people would be comfortable in it & it fits three easily.
There is a 150 litre water tank fitted underneath the van & a grey water tank under the other side. There’s soft lighting & a brand new 2 ring hob and work tops, a brand new fridge that fits your beers and wine in nicely :-)
There is cutlery & crockery< outside table, comfy chairs and bedding is optional just let me know what you want left in her on pick up.
The awning is fantastic to keep rain off or shelter from the sun & gives that extra space. I have recently purchased a gas city oven to cook with which is the absolute business for cooking outside it runs from a gas outlet that has just been installed in the van & is safe enough to use under the awning if its raining.
We have a fire pit which is off the ground so it’ll accommodate campsite rules & optional bags of wood for £5.00 per bag & free kindling to take with you if requested.
There is also optional kayak rental if you fancy!
Joy Green runs off diesel & has LPG gas which is easily installed by calling into a LPG listed garage if you run out on your travels but its unlikely as she will have a full tank when you pick her up as is the same with the diesel.
She is an amazing runner, reliable & I wouldn't hesitate to take her to Europe tomorrow but remember she's an older van so she likes to plod around at 60 and is fine with 70 on motorways.
My van has a lot of character and as a self build it gets quite a lot of admiration from other self build enthusiasts with comments such as cool van etc lol
She’s been fully rewired recently & gas certification last week. I hope you like the sound of her and consider renting her out for your next road trip!
