Located just outside of popular tourist town Newquay, The View at Watergate is a beautiful place to stay. As the name suggests, the view is incredible and overlooks the popular beach Watergate Bay, a great place to learn to surf. It is also situated on the South West Coast Path, so you can park up and have endless adventures right on your doorstep. The country roads are a little tight for a motorhome (like a lot of Cornwall!), but luckily you can walk down to the beach from the site. In just 5 minutes you will be on a walking route that will take you to popular tourist spots including Bedruthan Steps, Porthcothan and so much more. Newquay town is just a 10-minute drive away, or an easy bus journey from the campsite. It’s the perfect break from the action. A traditional, family-run campsite with incredible sea views, Treen Farm is a beautiful place to park up on along the lower West Coast. Just a 10-minute walk from popular spots Pedn Vounder, Porthcurno, and the small fishing cove of Penberth, there is plenty to do straight from the site. Then, a 10-minute drive will take you to the famous landmark Lands End, the UK’s furthest west and southwest point. Sennen Cove is also in close proximity, a great spot to enjoy the water or head out for a surf. Just be aware that you can’t book at this campsite and motorhomes are not permitted!
