Hi, I'm Sarah! My husband Xander and I decided to buy and convert a panel van back in the first covid lockdown in 2020.
We loved the challenge and are really proud of what we've achieved!
Since then, we've been on lots of road trips with Daisy (and our little cocker spaniel, Rufus) — Cornwall, Devon, the Alps, Snowdonia, the Lake District, Margate, the Cotswolds, the Yorkshire Dales.
We love the outdoors — cycling, running, hiking — so we've built lots of storage space into the 'garage' for all our stuff, as well as space for 2 bikes. It was also important we could live off grid so have a portable power shower and loo stored there too! We're mostly powered by solar, except for those cloudy days where the engine powers the battery.
We also love to come home to the van after a day outdoors and cook a delicious meal, so have a fully stocked kitchen with lots of spices, herbs, pots and pans, and of course wine rack. On an evening, we love to wind down with a glass of wine, board game, or book (all stored in the main cabin) or film on our projector.

We rented Daisy for a weekend, and she was perfect! Everything we needed was in the van, and Sarah is very kind and flexible to organise our trip :)

Absolutely superb! The van is spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need. It’s really easy to drive and is great for all different types of holidays. My girlfriend and I went to the Cotswolds and Lake District, it was perfect for both.

Daisy the van was absolutely perfect for my weekend vanlife trip. The van was beautifully converted- there was everything you could possibly need for a van trip but with beautiful decor making it feel very glam.
Sarah was incredibly accommodating- helping me to collect and drop off the van to suit my work times. She also took the time to help send things I’d left by accident.
I can’t recommend this experience more!

Daisy the Van was the perfect campervan getaway. We took the van to Cornwall on a coastal road trip and it was everything we wanted. Comfy bed, good amenities and a great experience featuring everything you will need for a motorhome holiday. Sarah and Alexander were such good hosts, quick and easy communication with them and very understanding, making the whole trip experience seamless for us, especially during the big delays we experienced traveling back for the van drop-off. Would recommend this van to anyone considering a campervan getaway.

My girlfriend and I took Daisy out for a long weekend to the New Forest last week and we had an amazing weekend! The van was super clean and had all of the equipment you will need. We managed to knock up a two course meal and cook breakfast without any issues at all. The van is comfortable and makes you feel like you are in a cosy living room. The owners Sarah and Xander were both really helpful and just generally lovely and easy to deal with and gave us the full run down of how everything works before we set off. Would recommend and cant wait to use Daisy again! Pete and Tian x
